Through this project, I explore the necklace as both a cultural artifact and a contemporary medium for artistic expression, reinterpreting its historical symbolism through new materials and forms. Using linked components, each piece investigates how structure, design, and material choice can convey emotion, narrative, and identity. This work reflects my interest in merging traditional craftsmanship with experimental thinking, expanding the boundaries of function and aesthetics while deepening my understanding of how jewelry communicates meaning through the body.
